Diergaarde Blijdorp – Rotterdam zoo

Diergaarde Blijdorp is one of Europe's finest zoos and, with around 1.5 million visitors per year, one of the most popular attractions in The Netherlands. You can lose yourself for hours among a variety of (dangerous) animals. And the zoo's Oceanium has an enormous covered aquarium, with a tunnel that runs underneath the sharks and rays.

The Euromast

Anyone wishing to take in the whole of Rotterdam at a glance can go to the top of the 185 metres high Euromast. The Euromast also offers many challenges to true daredevils: abseilen, tokkelen, the Euroscope and the Speedboat Adventure.

De Kuip Football Stadium

De Kuip football stadium is the home venue of the Rotterdam football club Feyenoord. De Kuip has also hosted many international matches, European Cup matches and even a European Championship final (Euro 2000). Take part in a guided tour and experience De Kuip's unique atmosphere.

The Flag Parade

The Flag Parade in Rotterdam consists of 230 masts with 180 flags of the nationalities represented in The Netherlands and sponsors' company flags. In the evening and at night the flags are illuminated, giving an enchanting view.

The Laurens Church

The Laurens Church is from olden times the 'main church' in Rotterdam, and the only remaining building from the middle ages, when Rotterdam was founded. The unique organs and carillons render a visit to the imposing Laurens church well worth while.
