Dutch Open Para Table Tennis with a Paralympic touch

During the second weekend of the 2011 WTTC in Rotterdam, a Dutch Open for Disabled Players will be organised. Currently the preparations are advancing. Early July, the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has agreed that it will be a factor 40 tournament...
It will start on 13 May and end on 15 May. There will be both a singles and a team tournament.
As the Dutch Open is a factor 40 event, it is important for the international ranking list and thus for qualification for the Paralympics 2012. The organisation thus expects many top players, including of course a Dutch delegation.
It is the first time that an important event for disabled players is combined with a regular WTTC.
